Residency Focus:
Anti Digital Environments: Reclaiming Attention in a Sculptural Landscape

For her residency, Katriina will explore the theme of Anti Digital Environments:
Reclaiming Attention in a Sculptural Landscape
. She will investigate how the
experience of art changes when encountered outside digital mediation, and how
curatorial practice can safeguard and deepen those unmediated encounters.
Utilizing analog, place-based art experiences to counteract digital saturation
and restore sensory presence, she will examine how the JRSP functions as an
“attention sanctuary,” exploring how the sculptures interact with natural rhythms
such as light, weather, and sound.
